Cardiff Law School Innocence Project Case Referred to Court of Appeal

Cardiff Law School's Innocence Project has become the first university based innocence project to have one of it's cases referred to the Court of Appeal.
The school, which is independent of the Innocence Network UK, is led by Julie Price and Dr Dennis Eady. On 15th November 2013, the Criminal Cases Review Commission referred Dwaine George's conviction for the 2001 murder of Daniel Dale in Manchester on new gunshot residue evidence.
